The Acies: Renewing Our Legionary Commitment

The Acies is the most important annual event for every Legion of Mary member—a solemn renewal of our consecration to Our Lady. Gathering as one body, we stand before her image, reaffirming that we are totus tuus—completely hers. Each member individually approaches the vexillum and recites, “I am all yours, my Queen, my Mother, and all that I have is yours.”

This is more than a ritual; it is a renewal of our mission. Just as Mary gave her Fiat at the Annunciation, we, her legionaries, renew our willingness to serve Christ through her. Strengthened by her intercession, we go forth with renewed zeal, trusting that she will lead us ever closer to her Son.
